FAIRMONT - Starting this month, Minnesotans have access to $4.4 million in stimulus funds for home improvements. There are some stipulations attached to the rebates, such as energy-efficiency and income eligibility. The Energy Saver Rebate covers 35 percent of eligible improvements, up to $10,000. However, homeowners shouldn’t rush out and buy just anything, expecting to be refunded.
